My name is Kiera and I am the owner of Kiera Kim Beauty Studio & Academy. Growing up with a mum as a hairdresser and beauty therapist, I’ve always had a passion for all things beauty.
I took my first eyelash extension course back in 2017 and from there, my business began to grow. I then went on to train in tanning, brows and makeup before eventually training as an educator for the industry.
I actually trained in beauty whilst finishing my Forensic Accounting Degree at the University of South Wales. The interest in my beauty services grew and I became so busy whilst studying that I instantly launched my business full time within a month of Graduating and returning to Exeter.
Since then, I have attended regular training to refresh my skills and travelled the country to train 1-1 with some of the best professionals in the industry, including Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester and Milton Keynes. Then in lockdown I took the plunge to do my level 3 Award in Education and Training, allowing me to launch my Training Academy in 2022 where I can provide support and education to those wanting to join or expand their treatment list in the beauty industry.
In November 2022 I opened my own beauty studio in Exeter and in April 2023 I became the winner of Lash Stylist of the Year at the UK Hair & Beauty Awards which are 2 achievements I am immensely proud of.
